Since the lockdown was imposed on March 24, 2020, BALSK has been actively working alongside communities in our project areas to provide vital support to those who have been hit hardest by the pandemic. We understand the immense challenges faced by vulnerable groups, particularly pregnant and lactating women, during these times.

To help address their needs, we distributed relief materials to 500 pregnant and lactating women in Chattapur, Supaul District. These women, who are already at risk, have faced even greater challenges due to the ongoing crisis. Our goal is to provide them with the resources they need to stay healthy and safe.

The relief materials included:

• Nutritious food packages to support the well-being of both mother and child
• Hygiene kits to maintain safety and cleanliness during the pandemic
• Informational materials to raise awareness about COVID-19 prevention and safety measures

This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to support and uplift communities during these tough times. We remain committed to providing assistance and helping those in need across the region as we navigate this crisis together.
